Trip Itinerary

• Day 1: Reach Guwahati
• - 03:00 PM(Optional time): Reach Hotel in Guwahati day 1 – Largest city of Assam (you can reach Guwahati by any time on Day 1), meet and greet with fellow travelers. Check in and explore the nearby area and market.
• - Overnight stay in Guwahati.
• Note: You can reach early on Day 1 and explore Kamakhya devi temple and Brahmaputra River (self – funded by own).


• Day 2: Guwahati to Cherrapunjee
• - Around 5:00 AM pick up from Hotel & transfer Guwahati to Cherrapunjee (Most famous place) -(The Wettest place on Planet Earth), around 150km.
• - Enjoy the scenic mountain roads.
• - Visit Nohkalikai Falls (falling from height of 1115 feet and fourth highest waterfall in the world), Seven sister falls , Eco Park, Caving in Mawsmai natural cave (most popular cave in Meghalaya, the length of cave 150 meters).
• - Check in and overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.


• Day 3: Double Decker Bridge
• - After Breakfast, get ready for amazing Double Decker Bridge
• - Visit most famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
• - Up and down by stairs (take 2 hours from one side, 3500 stairs one side) trek for Living Root Bridge.
• - You can enjoy a natural swimming pool near the bridge.
• - Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.


• Day 4: Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong, and Dawki
• - Transfer Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong (Around 75 km from Shillong). Mawlynnong is famous for its cleanliness and natural beauty.
• - Visit to Dawki (village situated at Border of India Bangladesh)
• - Boating in Umngot River (by own) – Crystal clear water.
• - Overnight stay in Mawlynnong.


• Day 5: Mawlynnong to Shillong
• - Transfer Mawlynnong to Shillong (around 70 km)
• - Visit Don Bosco Museum, Shillong Peak, Elephant waterfall etc.
• - Explore Shillong and the market area.
• - Overnight stay in Shillong.


• Day 6: Shillong to Guwahati Airport
• - Travel back to Guwahati from Shillong.
• - Enroute Visit Umiam Lake, enjoy the view of the lake and spend some time here.
• - Say Bye- Bye to heavenly Meghalaya.
• - Around 1:00 PM I reached Guwahati Airport. Trip Terminates
• - Trip concludes with happy faces and unforgettable memories.

  6. Full day trekking to Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village (Up and down ), around 2 hours from one side (3500 stairs from one side), You can enjoy a natural swimming pool near the bridge.
